Inflectra is the preferred infliximab product for OH, available to order in Epic via therapy plan.
Formulary location: Inpatient, Outpatient Infusion
Criteria for Inpatient Use:
a. Diagnosis of immunotherapy-induced colitis,
OR
b. Diagnosis of severe IBD (i.e. Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease) AND
Failed inpatient steroid treatment defined as no improvement > 72 hours (elevated CRP and symptomatic) with severe colitis on IV methylprednisolone.
c. Documentation of TB and hep B serologies, per current standard, is required for infliximab therapy.
