  • GI: diarrhea, constipation, nausea
  • headache
  • insomnia

Piperacillin-tazobactam (Zosyn) is non-formulary and will only be allowed when inventories of cefepime are depleted during a shortage.  Orders for Zosyn will be changed per Protocol 900.6000 Patient Care Therapeutic Interchange Protocols
