Formulary Restriction: Pasireotide diaspartate (Signifor) is restricted to use in pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedures) at LGS only. However, this medication is NOT routinely stocked and may require a three-day lead time for ordering.
Dosing is 0.9 mg SC twice a day for up to 7 days (NEJM)
