Esketamine (Spravato) is a formulary restricted medication: use restricted to Unity and requires insurance pre-approval prior to use.
The goal of the Spravato REMS is to mitigate the risk of serious outcomes resulting from sedation and dissociation and respiratory depression caused by administration, and includes health care setting, patient, pharmacy and wholesaler-distributor requirements for dispensing.
