Ketorolac

  • 17-64 years AND ≥ 50 kg: 30 mg IV every 6 hours for 5 days (max daily dose: 120 mg)
  • ≥ 65 years OR < 50 kg: 15 mg IV every 6 hours for 5 days (max daily dose: 60 mg)

NSAID -- maybe scheduled with meals.


Anjeso: Interchange to ketorolac IV for a maximum of 5 days.  If Anjeso ordered x 1 dose, ketorolac should be entered as every 6 hours x 4 doses. Ketorolac dosage should be adjusted based on patient weight, age or renal function.
