Oral NSAID -- May be scheduled with meals.
If indomethacin suppository is used in OB-GYN treatment of pre-term labor, normal dose is 50 mg x1, then 25 mg-50 mg q 6-8 hours with "STOP ORDER" (review of duration) at 48 hours -- call physician. Time may be extended up to 4 days if physician feels benefits outweigh risks, then call physician at 96 hours.
