Automatic Stop: 3 day stop date for azithromycin 500 mg daily orders with the indication of community-acquired pneumonia OR COPD exacerbation. Does NOT apply to other dosing regimens or indications. Please note, if a provider includes a duration on the order then the pharmacist is NOT to change it.
