Dosing information for treatment of STEMI

Administration

  • Dilute tenecteplase powder with 10 mL of Sterile Water for Injection provided in the kit. Swirl vial gently until dissolved. DO NOT SHAKE. 
  • Withdraw prescribed dose and administer as IV push over 5 seconds via dedicated line.
  • Precipitation may occur in IV line containing dextrose. Flush line with NaCl 0.9% prior to and after administration
