Lortadine (Claritin) will be automatically substituted for all single-entity antihistamines, with the exception of cyrproheptadine, dimenhydrinate, diphenhydramine, hydroxyzine, meclizine, and promethazine. Loratadine will be substituted for all antihistamine/analgesic combinations, with the exception of Tylenol PM, which will be dispensed as written. If an analgesic or antipyretic is needed, it is to be ordered by the physician.
