Lansoprazole is an automatic substition for proton pump inhibitors ordered "per tube"; if ordered po, pantoprazole is an automatic substitution.

SoluTabs are orally disintegrating and not to be swallowed. Dissolve in water and administer by oral syringe or ng. The granules for reconstitution are to be mixed with water, and are not for use in NG tubes.  If ordered per J-tube, pharmacy will prepare and dispense lansoprazole (3mg per ml) suspension.
