Pegfilgrastim-bmez (Ziextenzo)

Situation

Pegfilgrastim-bmez (Ziextenzo) 6 mg/0.6 mL for injection was approved for addition to the health system formulary as the preferred pegfilgrastim biosimilar. This was approved at the March 2021 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

The following medication was reviewed: Pegfilgrastim-bmez (Ziextenzo) 6 mg/0.6 mL mg for injection

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Pegfilgrastim-bmez (Ziextenzo) 6 mg/0.6 mL for injection
