 Situation: Methadone 10 mg/mL 1 mL Syringe was approved for addition to the UNC Health system formulary at the August 2025 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.  

Background: The following medication was reviewed: Methadone 10 mg/mL 1 mL Syringe 

Assessment/Recommendation 

Change effective: Tuesday, September 30 2025 

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health Medication Formulary: Methadone 10 mg/mL 1 mL Syringe
