Situation: Intramuscular immune globulin (GamaSTAN) was approved for addition to the UNC Health System Formulary at the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.
Background: The following medication was reviewed: intramuscular immune globulin (GamaSTAN)
Assessment/Recommendation: System P&T voted to include the following products to the UNC Health Medication Formulary with restrictions: GamaSTAN SDV 2 mL and 10 mL
- Restricted to use only in patients for measles post-exposure prophylaxis
Formulary/Epic Changes will Go-Live on Tuesday, May 27th
