System Formulary Update
Guselkumab (Tremfya)

Situation: Guselkumab (Tremfya) was approved for addition to the UNC Health System Formulary at the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background: The following medication was reviewed: Guselkumab (Tremfya) 200 mg/20 mL intravenous solution 

Assessment/Recommendation: System P&T voted to include the following product to the UNC Health Medication Formulary with restrictions

• Guselkumab (Tremfya) 200 mg/20 mL intravenous solution 

Restricted to outpatient encounters or clinic use only (ie, no inpatient use)

• A benefits investigation must be completed prior to use

Formulary/Epic Changes will Go-Live on Tuesday, April 8th
