Situation:

Methylene Blue (ProVayBlue) 10 mg/ mL (2 mL syringes) injection was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the August 2024 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: Methylene Blue (ProVayBlue) 10 mg/ mL (2 mL syringes) injection

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Methylene Blue (ProVayBlue) 10 mg/ mL (2 mL syringes) injection
