Situation:

Zonisamide (Zonisade) 100 mg/5 mL oral suspension was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the May 2024 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: Zonisamide (Zonisade) 100 mg/5 mL oral suspension

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Zonisamide (Zonisade) 100 mg/5 mL oral suspension
