Situation:

Escitalopram (Lexapro) 5 mg tablets were approved for addition to the health system formulary at the May 2024 System Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: Escitalopram (Lexapro) 5 mg tablets 

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Escitalopram (Lexapro) 5 mg tablets
