Situation:

Avacincaptad pegol (Izervay) 2 mg/0.1 mL for intravitreal injection was approved for addition to the UNC Health System Formulary at the February 2024 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: Avacincaptad pegol (Izervay) 2 mg/0.1 mL for intravitreal injection.

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Avacincaptad pegol (Izervay) 2 mg/0.1 mL for intravitreal injection.
