Situation:

Fenfluramine (Fintepla) 2.2 mg/mL oral solution (30 mL bottle) was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the October 2023 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Commitee meeting

Background:

The following medications were reviewed: Fenfluramine (Fintepla) 2.2 mg/mL oral solution (30 mL bottle)

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Fenfluramine (Fintepla) 2.2 mg/mL oral solution (30 mL bottle)
