Rocuronium Class Standardization

Situation:

The ROCuronium class review standardization was approved by System P&T in October 20203

Background:

The following products were reviewed: ROCuronium solution for injection (commercial vials and 503B syringes).

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following product from the UNC Health System Drug Formulary:

• ROCuronium 50 mg/5 mL solution for injection (commercial vials)

Of note, this standardizatio removes 503B ROCuronium products, and ROCuronium 100 mg/10 mL solution for injection (commercial vials)

Note: Stock of this formulary product may vary at individual entities
