Lidocaine 4% patch was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee Meeting.

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: Lidocaine 4% patch 

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to add the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Lidocaine 4% patch

System P&T voted to remove the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Lidocaine 5% patch
