Situation:

Meningococcal (groups ACYW-135) vaccine (Menveo) one-vial preparation was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee Meeting.

Background:

The following medication was reviewed: meningococcal (groups ACYW-135) vaccine (Menveo) one-vial preparation

Assessment/Recommendations:

System P&T voted to include the following product from the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Meningococcal (groups ACYW-135) vaccine (Menveo) one-vial preparation
• The Menveo two-vial preparation will still be available for outpatient/clinic use

Note: Stock of this formulary product may vary at individual entities
