Situation

Neostigmine 3 mg/3 mL pre-filled syringes were approved for addition to the health system formulary at the March 2023 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background

The following medications were reviewed:

• Neostigmine 3 mg/3 mL pre-filled syringes

Assessment/Recommendations

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health System Medication Formulary:

• Neostigmine 3 mg/3 mL (1 mg/1 mL) pre-filled syringes
