Molnupiravir (Lagevrio)
Situation
Molnupiravir (Lagevrio) 200 mg capsules were approved for addition to the UNC Health System Formulary at the January 2023 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.
Molnupiravir will be RESTRICTED to patients who meet EUA criteria AND were admitted for an indication other than COVID-19 OR initiated molnupiravir prior to admission with the treatment team wanting to finish out the 5-day course.
