Situation

Avacopan (Tavneos) was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the January 2023 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background

The following medication was reviewed: avacopan (Tavneos) 10 mg capsules. 

Assessment/Recommendations

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health System Drug Formulary with restriction to continuation of home therapy:

• Avacopan (Tavneos) 10 mg capsules
