Levetiracetam UD Cups and IV Premix

Situation

Levetiracetam 500 mg/5 mL unit dose (UD) cups and Levetiracetam 1500 mg/100 mL infusion premix was approved for addition to the health system formulary at the August 2022 System Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting.

Background

The following medication was reviewed: Levetiracetam 500 mg/5 mL unit dose (UD) cups and Levetiracetam 1500 mg/100 mL infusion premix

Assessment/Recommendations

System P&T voted to include the following products on the UNC Health Medication Formulary:

• Levetiracetam 500 mg/5 mL unit dose (UD) cups

• Levetiracetam 1500 mg/100 mL infusion premix
