PRIALT is classified as formulary status restricted for inpatients to patients that are already on the drug at admission. Initiation is restricted to the outpatient setting (Pain Clinic).
NOTE: Pharmacy should not supply vials for trial/test doses. The Pain Center is to use free samples provided by the drug company for trial/test doses. (Updated Feb 2023)
