OXTELLAR XR is interchanged to immediate release OXcarbazepine at the same total daily dose split into 2 doses (BID) in adults.
Pediatrics - Do not automatically interchange the drug for pediatric patients. Patients may use their own supply of OXTELLAR XR if needed; contact phsyician if home supply unavailable.
