Dosing information for treatment of STEMI

  • Patients > 67 kg (actual body weight):
    1. Infuse 15 mg IV bolus over 1 to 2 minutes followed by,
    2. 50 mg infusion over 30 minutes then,
    3. 35 mg infusion over 1 hour

Total maximum dose: 100 mg

  • Patients ≤ 67 kg (actual body weight):
    1. Infuse 15 mg IV bolus over 1 to 2 minutes followed by,
    2. 0.75 mg/kg infusion (do not exceed 50 mg) over 30 minutes then,
    3. 0.5 mg/kg infusion (do not exceed 35 mg) over 1 hour

Total maximum dose: 100 mg
